The Severn Gallery’s certified framing specialists know how to create or enhance a project of any size. To them, they all are special. Come in, sit down, and view our enormous library of frames, prints, and mat samples. With your input and our expertise, the result is something you won’t see anywhere else. We will take the time and care to help you design the perfect framing you need to enhance your home decor. Our frames cover a wide range of designs and prices. We have been in business for over 30 years — our current staff members have over 20 years experience in framing. You can choose from a number of framing options or let our expert staff do the designing. We offer traditional and archival materials in our framing, such as acid free mat-board/backing and ultra-violet protection glass. Severn offers gift certificates available upon request. These can be customized for special occasions. No job is too big, too small or too custom (longer turn-around times may apply).

We are proud to have Board Certified Picture Framing (CPF) Specialists On Staff. The Certified Picture Framer® (CPF®) examination was developed in 1986 in conjunction with Educational Testing Services (ETS) to provide professional recognition to individuals successfully completing the established criteria. It’s important to be aware that most picture framers are not certified, in fact one source states that there are less than 3,000 active certified picture framers in the United States.

We use quality materials including fine mouldings, and offer archival materials, such as acid free matting and mounting materials, UV protective glass as well as Acrylic Shatterproof glazing is also available for an extra level of protection. After framing thousands and thousands of items we have perfected the art. We can also do shadow box framing. Each item receives the personal attention and special care of our Certified Framers. We understand the value each piece holds for its owner, whether it be monetary or sentimental, and treat each item with the utmost respect.
